Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is required.
• Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred.
• Typically a minimum of 15 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a lead technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisory role.
• Applies advanced technical expertise to solve design challenges within a discipline and contributes to innovative engineering solutions.
• Utilizes digital design tools and software (CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Responsible for technical quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance, coordinating across departments and stakeholders.
• May supervise engineering technicians and support staff to ensure design quality and efficiency.
• Coordinates with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information.
