Job summary

Perrigo is seeking an Engineering Technician with Electrical Controls experience to join the Grand Rapids Oral Care Plant on 1st shift. The role focuses on troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing automated controls, robotic work cells, and computer-controlled systems across the site.

You will develop equipment changes, implement new installations, and help build the Electrical Apprenticeship program, mentoring colleagues and ensuring SOPs and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• DOL Electrical Journeyman Certificate is required or equivalent licensure.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting of programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair automated and computerized systems and robotic work cells.
• Develop, design, implement and validate equipment changes or installation of new equipment.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to technicians responsible for industrial machine repair and equipment.
• Develop and train the electrical apprenticeship program and maintain related documentation.
• Support GMP requirements and safety standards across processes.
