Job summary

ONWARD SEARCH is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support our on-site operations. The role focuses on leading electrical control systems development and testing for new products and process improvements, with emphasis on upgrades and documentation for equipment remanufacturing.

The engineer will provide field support, troubleshoot issues on-site, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and timely material transitions, while maintaining compliance through design validation and

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in ladder logic programming and RS Logix 500 & 5000.
Strong understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID, and process diagrams.
Experience with control systems such as Proface, PanelView, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and testing of electrical and control systems for new products and process improvements.
Manage control system upgrades, process development, and documentation for equipment remanufacturing.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for field and customer issues, including on-site assistance.
Interface with suppliers to ensure quality, timely material transitions, and ongoing supplier development.
Document control system design, validation, and support activities to meet manufacturing and compliance standards.
