Job summary
Jabil is seeking a Principal Controls Engineer to lead design and deployment of advanced control systems for data center infrastructure, power management, and industrial automation. You will define architecture across PLCs, BMS, EPMS, and ATS, and guide wiring harness development, test strategies, and FAT/SAT.
The role requires 8+ years in control system design, expertise in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider), BMS integration, EPMS analytics, and familiarity with NFPA/IEC
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in control system design and implementation.
- Strong PLC programming expertise (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider).
- Experience with BMS/EPMS integration and safety standards (NFPA/IEC/ISO).
Responsibilities
- Define and own control system architecture across PLCs, BMS, EPMS, ATS.
- Develop detailed control specifications, design documents, and interfaces.
- Lead FAT/SAT, system testing, and commissioning for new projects.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration.
