Job summary

Jabil seeks a Master Electrician II to provide electrical and electronic support to operations. The role involves leading electricians and technicians, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation.

You will work with engineering to document processes, read schematics and P&IDs, and ensure NEC/OSHA compliance. The position also covers BOM design, training, and safety program involvement on-site in Virginia.

Qualifications

• 5-8 Year experience required.
• State Master Electrician License (Virginia) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level electrical management and directions to electric staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment including PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, motors, pumps, and power distribution.
• Participate in equipment installation and start-ups.
• Provide customer technical support in person, via phone and electronically.
• Work with engineering to produce documentation.
• Read and follow schematics, P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Design and produce electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Apply NEC and OSHA regulations as it relates to electrical work.
• Size and specify wire, conduit, switches, panels and breakers.
• Assist in developing operations and training manuals.
• Assist in manufacturing process creation with Safety perspective for PPE integration.
• Train lower level electricians.
