Job summary
Echodyne seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the accessory electrical development across the product lifecycle for our radar portfolio. You will drive architecture, requirements, interfaces, and verification, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions.
Responsibilities include defining approaches, trade studies, and risk mitigation, plus guiding COTS and vendor co-development, design-for-manufacturability, and production
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with extensive hardware experience.
- Export control eligibility including ITAR/EAR considerations.
- 15+ years of electrical hardware development experience.
Responsibilities
- Own electrical architecture, requirements, and interfaces for accessory products.
- Lead concepts to detailed design, including trade studies and risk management.
- Guide COTS/build-to-print/vendor co-development and design-to-spec.
- Lead integration, verification, EMI/EMC, safety, and qualification activities.
- Support NPI, production, revisions, and sustaining changes with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical leadership, reviews, mentorship, and reusable architectures.
