The role emphasizes design planning, cost targets, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and processes. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in gear design/manufacturing, strong CAD/FEA skills, and experience driving engineering projects from concept through manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Extensive gear design and manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/FEA and DFM/DFA principles.

Responsibilities

• Develops project goals and objectives by reviewing proposals and conferring with management.
• Ensures projects meet schedules, cost targets and technical expectations through leadership.
• May interface with customers to present project status and gain confidence in ongoing support.
• Prepare documentation and plans; coordinate staffing and resources across teams.
