Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman for electrical overhead distribution projects. This skilled role includes construction, maintenance and repair across multiple locations and may require travel to other states to meet customer demands.

You will lead crew members, coach on safety procedures, and supervise field operations including line work, pole setting, transformer installation and troubleshooting in energized systems.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Coordinates and inspects the work of crew members.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime when requested.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach crew members in safe and productive line work.
• String overhead wire and set poles, anchors, and crossarms.
• Install transformers, switches, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot primary and secondary systems; clear faults.
• Perform rigorous physical labor and work at heights.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
