Fisica, Inc. seeks a Lead, Environmental Health & Safety to develop and administer EHS programs in a 100% onsite role in Simi Valley, CA.

This senior position oversees regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and safety training in a defense-focused manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's with extensive experience, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and ability to drive sustainability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6-8 years of related experience; graduate degree with 5+ years also acceptable.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regs.
• Experience leading incident investigations and root-cause analysis; implementing corrective actions.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and JHAs.
• Ability to deliver safety training to all employee levels; familiarity with LOTO, hazard communication, PPE, confined spaces, machine guarding, respirators.
• CPR certification and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead root-cause analyses for incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct training, spot checks, and inspections; support space planning and facility changes for EHS compliance.
• Monitor sustainability initiatives and drive improvements across the operation.
