Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) to be a subject matter expert for safety and compliance in explosives manufacturing. This remote position requires frequent travel to Missile Propulsion locations.

The candidate will ensure that processes conform to safety regulations and will support EH&S teams in delivering propulsion products for national security solutions. A Bachelor’s degree and substantial experience in EH&S are required, along with a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of prior experience in EH&S.
• At least 7 years of experience under DoD 4145.26M requirements.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for EH&S problems.
• Lead and mentor regarding energetics safety.
• Manage compliance audits and inspections.
