Job summary

WVU Medicine Golisano Children's Hospital in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Supervisor, EEG & Sleep Services to provide leadership and operational oversight across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and laboratory settings.

The role manages daily operations, staffing, quality assurance, accreditation readiness, and financial performance while collaborating with physicians and HR to promote patient-centered care and program growth.

Qualifications

• RPSGT or R. EEG T. certification required or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Three (3) years of experience as a Sleep Technologist and/or Neurodiagnostic (EEG) Technologist.
• One (1) year of supervisory/lead/management experience in healthcare (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of EEG and Sleep Services across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and laboratory settings.
• Coordinates staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient patient access and service delivery.
• Monitors productivity, volumes, turnaround times, and KPIs; leads process improvement initiatives.
• Ensures maintenance and proper use of equipment, software, and supplies; supports new technologies and workflows.
• Provides orientation, training, and ongoing staff development; conducts evaluations and coaching.
• Collaborates with physicians and Human Resources to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and documentation quality.
• Assists with budgets, monitors expenditures, and supports program growth and governance.
