Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown seeks an experienced leader to provide strategic oversight of EEG and Sleep Services across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will direct daily operations, staffing, quality, regulatory readiness, and financial performance while partnering with physicians and HR.

Qualifications

• Three years of Sleep Technologist or Neurodiagnostic EEG experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of EEG and Sleep Services across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and laboratory settings; coordinates staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
• Monitors productivity, volumes, turnaround times, and KPIs; implements process improvement initiatives.
• Ensures equipment functionality, calibration, and utilization; supports new technologies and workflows for program growth.
• Supervises EEG and sleep technologists and support staff; leads recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Provides orientation, training, competency validation, and staff development opportunities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and documentation standards; participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
