Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits, or a passing score on a district-approved assessment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and utilize information and records efficiently.
• Ability to manage student behavior according to district policies and school goals.
• Ability to understand and implement instructional goals and carry out work accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructing students in small groups and one-on-one settings; adjust teaching plans as needed.
• Prepare instructional materials and visual aids as directed by licensed staff.
• Support student safety and promote positive interpersonal relationships among students and staff.
• Maintain communications, reports, and documentation related to area of responsibility.
