Job summary

Informa Tech is seeking a Lead Editor to head Cybersecurity Dive, directing content strategy and editorial excellence for a publication serving CISOs and C-level executives. You will lead a team of reporters, manage budgets and develop the publication’s editorial products, including newsletters and virtual events.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity journalism, with at least one year in a leadership role, and a proven ability to drive strategy and growth in a fast-paced media

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of cybersecurity journalism experience and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a manager.
• Cybersecurity technology and subject matter expertise with exceptional business reporting, writing and editing skills.
• Strong leadership and communications skills.
• A proven ability to think strategically, plan holistically, shape editorial coverage and mobilize resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cybersecurity Dive's content strategy and editorial direction.
• Grow the audience among CISOs and C-level executives, driving loyalty and engagement.
• Manage resources and budgets for the publication.
• Mentor and coach reporters to support growth and high standards.
• Oversee editorial products including newsletters, digital reports, and virtual events.
