Informa Tech is seeking an Editor-in-Chief to lead Dark Reading and its cybersecurity journalism team in the United States. You will drive editorial excellence, manage a skilled staff, and shape strategy for global expansion while maintaining brand standards and trusted industry coverage.

The role requires strong leadership, deep cybersecurity expertise, and the ability to grow the audience among CISOs and security professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of cybersecurity journalism experience and a minimum of 2+ years' experience as a manager.
• Strong leadership and communications skills to support and empower the team.
• A well-established network of cybersecurity industry connections and sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead Dark Reading's vision, content strategy and global expansion.
• Grow Dark Reading's audience of CISOs and cybersecurity leaders and practitioners.
• Manage resources and budgets and oversee editors and reporters.
