Plotsy is seeking an Editor to act as the quality gate between AI-assisted production and human artistry. You will assemble episodes, approve scenes, and optimize the pipeline while safeguarding emotional depth and cinematic pacing across each installment.

As the primary editor, you will review performances, flag artifacts, and provide precise feedback to Directors to maintain fast turnaround times. Remote Texas-based role with opportunities to shape a growing cinematic program.

Qualifikationen

• Narrative editing experience within long-form scripted episodic content.
• Ability to assess emotional authenticity and performance in scenes.
• Eye for AI-generated artifacts and failure modes in video.
• Advanced proficiency in leading editing software (NLEs).
• Ability to organize thousands of assets from multiple contributors.

• Episode Assembly & Placement: place approved scenes into the timeline and shape pacing.
• Quality Gate & Scene Approval: audit scenes delivered by Directors Editors.
• Pipeline Optimization & Feedback: identify issues and improve upstream AI tools.
• Scene & Performance Review: assess technical quality and emotional authenticity.
• Technical Quality Control: flag temporal flicker, lip-sync drift, consistency issues.
• Actionable Feedback: provide precise notes to ensure fast turnaround.
• Timeline Construction: build the initial episode cut in narrative order.
• Continuity & Flow: fix pacing, tonal consistency, avoid repeated compositions.
• Gap Reporting: flag missing coverage with tactical solutions.
• Sound Design Support: ensure soundscape matches the book’s atmosphere.
• Pattern Reporting: track asset errors and report to leadership for fixes.
