The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and team leads to meet service level targets.

The position requires two years of college, three years as an Imaging Technologist with at least one year in a supervisory role, and appropriate licensure/certification as required for imaging

Qualifications

• Two years of college education. May consider additional years of experience in lieu of 2 years of college or degree.
• 3 years experience as an Imaging Technologist with 1-year supervisory experience.
• Licensure by the Texas Medical Board is required for all modalities except for Ultrasound or MRI technologists.
• ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB certifications may be required for various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees and daily operations in Imaging Services modalities.
• Works with Team Leads to provide adequate staffing and ensure patient continuity of care.
• Assists technologists in performing diagnostic exams when needed.
• Coordinates with scheduling and physicians for add-on or conflicting procedures and patient flow.
