Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an Imaging Technologist with leadership to oversee employee supervision, payroll, scheduling, imaging exams, and maintenance coordination.

Under minimal supervision, you will supervise staff across Imaging Services, mentor technologists, ensure staffing adequacy, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient flow while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education; additional years may substitute.
• 3 years experience as Imaging Technologist with 1-year supervisory experience.
• BLS by AHA/ARC required; Texas Medical Board licensure for modalities except ultrasound/MRI.
• Licensure/certification per modality (ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB/ARMRIT) required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Imaging Services staff and daily operations.
• Mentor technologists; lead staff orientation and training initiatives.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling with Team Leads and physicians.
• Ensure compliance, quality control, and safety across imaging modalities.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, procurement, and incident reporting.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
