Job summary

Martha & Mary Early Learning Center in Poulsbo, WA is hiring a full-time Program Supervisor. You will lead the educational program, supervise staff, and ensure developmentally appropriate activities for children birth to 5 years old.

The role reports to the Director and Assistant Director, with duties spanning curriculum planning, staff oversight, and family communication. The position requires an ECE State Certificate with 2+ years teaching experience and at least 1 year of management/coaching,

Qualifications

• ECE State Certificate or equivalent with at least two years of teaching experience with birth to 5 years old.
• At least one year of management/coaching experience; Teaching Strategies GOLD/Early Achievers experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit and First Aid/CPR certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Educational Leadership: develop and monitor the educational program with daily schedules including free play, group activities, outdoor time, rest, and meals.
• Staff Supervision: assign duties and schedules, supervise and support staff development.
• Discipline & Guidance: enforce rules and support staff in managing behavior.
• Quality Assurance: ensure lesson plans are developmentally appropriate and implemented.
• Parental Communication: act as main contact for parents and conferences.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure licensing compliance and safety drills.
• Facility Management: maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming center.
