Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership of classroom instruction and use of evidence-based curriculum.
• Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers preferred.
• Familiarity with DC Early Learning Standards and Creative Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and teacher-child interactions.
• Plan and implement lesson plans and documentation for children and classroom activities.
• Create an organized, engaging learning environment for birth to five years old.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assistant teachers and other adults.
• Ensure daily use of Brightwheel to share updates and photos.
