Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher for Champions, supporting hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time on school grounds. You’ll partner with administrators to bring our programs to their district, and you’ll work with students to think bigger and never give up, leading the way toward inspired learning.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAECY candidacy
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to communicate in English with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in line with each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents to support best care and education
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities and partners
