Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our Champions program, guiding elementary-aged children after school on school grounds. You will mentor fellow teachers, implement our curriculum, and collaborate with administrators and families to deliver engaging, safe learning experiences.

You will partner with parents to support child development, drive enrollment and accreditation efforts, and uphold high standards of care across centers.

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy is required.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English communication skills (reading/writing/speaking) to interact with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum matching individual child needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child development and enrollment goals.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership.
• Build positive relationships with families, licensing authorities, and community partners.
