Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to join Champions, supporting families and elementary-aged kids after school. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space where children learn and grow.

You will partner with parents, support center goals around enrollment and accreditation, and build strong relationships with families and community partners while adhering to state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have CDA credentials or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education goals.
• Support center success by contributing to enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers and community partners.
