Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor teachers in the classroom while implementing the curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with parents to support each child’s growth and collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organization, and multitasking ability.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Ability to communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
