Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor fellow educators in our early childhood classrooms. You will implement our curriculum in a way that respects each child's unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.

Join us to partner with parents, support enrollment and accreditation goals, and build strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners while providing outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Customer service and organizational skills; able to multitask effectively.
• CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy; state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years of early childhood education experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading, writing, and speaking to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
