Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead, coach and mentor teachers while implementing our curriculum to meet each child’s needs. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, and you’ll partner with parents to deliver high-quality care and education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Possess active CDA credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Engage safely with children and families; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center’s success; collaborate with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
