Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead classrooms, mentor teammates, and implement our curriculum in alignment with each child’s needs. You'll create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn under supportive center leadership.

You will partner with families and schools to promote enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while building positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; able to multi-task
• Active CDA Credential or in NAEYC candidacy
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willing to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to engage with children with good sight and hearing
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way aligned with each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center’s success; work with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
