Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor in a classroom setting. You will implement the standard curriculum while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children and collaborating with families for optimal care and education.

Ideal candidates bring CDA or NAEYC progress, a relevant degree, and CPR/First Aid readiness. This role emphasizes partnership with parents and staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and ability to multi-task.
• CDA credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
