Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher in Athens, GA. You will guide young learners through hands-on activities, stories, and explorations, creating a warm, safe classroom that invites curiosity and growth.

You will partner with families, model positive behavior, and collaborate with a teaching team to deliver engaging early childhood education. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, 401(k), holidays, PTO, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Completion of 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements.
• Observe and document each child’s development and share progress with families.
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and conferences.
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incidents, and assessments.
