Job summary

Ivy Kids Early Learning Center in Spring, TX seeks a lead teacher to plan and implement daily MultiPrep curriculum, promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The role involves supervising assistant teachers, coordinating schedules, and maintaining records of milestones and attendance.

You will practice Conscious Discipline, use positive guidance, and ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and Ivy Kids policies.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in early education.
• Bachelor’s or higher in ECE, or CDA required.
• Ability to repetitively bend, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate with children and parents.
• Maintain 24 hours of training per year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the MultiPrep curriculum activities and lesson plans.
• Uses positive guidance techniques and Conscious Discipline.
• Keeps accurate records of developmental milestones and attendance.
• Ensures assessments/ASQs are conducted on time.
• Supervises assistant teachers and mentors staff.
• Maintains classroom environment and safety.
• Communicates with parents via Procare daily reports.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
