Job summary

KinderCare in Raleigh, NC seeks an enthusiastic early childhood educator to lead and mentor a classroom, implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will partner with families, support center goals around enrollment and engagement, and build strong relationships with licensing authorities and community partners.

A CDA/NAEYC candidacy and 2–3 years ECE experience are preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in ECE

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and ability to organize and multi-task in a busy classroom.
• Experience with child development and early childhood education best practices.
• Ability to meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom and model best practices.
• Implement curriculum while addressing individual child needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment for children.
• Partner with parents to support child growth and family involvement.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Establish positive relationships with families, staff, authorities and partners.
