Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher in Raleigh, NC to coach peers, implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, and nurture a safe, engaging learning environment. You will collaborate with families to support each child's growth and work with center leadership on enrollment and accreditation goals.

Ideal candidates bring CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years in Early Childhood Education, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned to each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education
• Support center success; work with staff to boost enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners
