Job summary

KinderCare in Cary, NC seeks a dedicated childcare leader to mentor teachers, implement the KinderCare curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. You will partner with parents to support child development and work with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires CDA or NAEYC qualifications, strong customer service, and the ability to lift 40 pounds. English communication with children and parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that supports each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child development and communication.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
