Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated lead teacher in Houston to mentor fellow teachers and deliver our curriculum with attention to each child’s unique needs. You will foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment and actively partner with families to support development and engagement.

With emphasis on enrollment and accreditation goals, you will collaborate with center staff, licensors, and community partners while delivering strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and mentoring teachers.
• Preferred CDA credential or ongoing candidacy with NAEYC.
• Commitment to child safety and development standards.
• Ability to coordinate with licensing authorities and program partners.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom and provide feedback.
• Implement curriculum while adapting to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child development and engagement.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and manage multiple tasks effectively.
