Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an enthusiastic early childhood educator to lead and inspire a classroom, modeling best practices for other teachers and delivering our curriculum with fidelity.

You will partner with families and center leadership to ensure a safe, engaging environment where children can learn through play, while meeting enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement goals. A CDA or state credentials are preferred, with ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or nearing NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
