Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a Lead Teacher in New Jersey to lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback while implementing KinderCare's curriculum in a way that respects each child's unique needs.

Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn; partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children, and support the center’s goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement with leadership.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational abilities required.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that respects each child’s unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
