Scoot Education in Los Angeles is seeking an early childhood educator (Lead/Associate/Assistant) to support ECE across local schools. Roles vary by experience, with the promise of competitive hourly pay. You must be available 3–5 days and 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and hold Pediatric CPR/First Aid and health training.

We reimburse background checks and provide W-2 employment. This hourly, non-exempt role emphasizes nurturing children's development and teamwork with site directors.

Qualifications

• 12+ ECE or Child Development credits or equivalent permit.
• with accompanying details to comply with California standards.

Responsabilités

• Supervise children as assigned by Site/Program Director.
• Maintain behavioral standards and support self-esteem.
• Cooperate with staff to maintain a harmonious environment.
• Support curriculum planning and age-appropriate activities.
• Communicate with parents and refer concerns appropriately.
• Identify crises and report to leadership as needed.
• Assist with sign-in/out, meal counts, and attendance.
• Help CACFP compliance for meals and snacks.
