Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks a Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to provide technical leadership and full discipline delivery for industrial projects in Baton Rouge, LA. This role requires in-person presence and a Louisiana PE license.

The successful candidate will lead engineers and designers, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and coordinate with clients to ensure safety, compliance, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Louisiana PE license is required.
• In-person presence in Baton Rouge, LA (no remote work).
• Experience leading Electrical & Instrumentation for industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical & Instrumentation discipline and provide technical direction to engineers and designers.
• Plan, organize, and communicate work execution strategies to teams and clients.
• Track discipline budgets, schedules, and staffing using project controls.
• Develop and validate estimates for professional services and construction.
• Ensure design calculations and specifications meet codes and constructability goals.
