Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Lead Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to lead the E&I discipline for industrial projects in Baton Rouge, LA. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and strong client communication, with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

The ideal candidate has extensive E&I experience, a PE license (LA preferred), and the ability to manage teams of engineers and designers across project controls and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Louisiana PE license is required.
• Experience as an industrial E&I professional.
• Ability to lead engineers and designers and manage scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation discipline, providing technical direction.
• Plan, organize, and communicate work execution strategies to project teams, leadership, and clients.
• Develop and validate professional services and construction estimates; monitor changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop engineers and designers through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
