Job summary

McKenney’s Inc. is seeking an experienced foreman for sheet metal/ductwork to oversee fabrication, installation, and testing per project specifications.

Lead crew, plan manpower, materials, and equipment while coordinating with trades to ensure sequencing and performance standards are met. You will maintain strong relationships with customers and business associates, review drawings, and ensure quality control and safety compliance across daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience in sheet metal/ductwork or 2 years in a leadership role via JATC, plus OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily goals and ductwork tasks to crew members.
• Review drawings, specifications, and duct designs for daily work.
• Inspect materials (sheet metal, insulation, sealants) for quality and specs.
• Coordinate ductwork with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural trades.
• Update as-built drawings with actual duct routing and connections.
• Attend project coordination meetings and communicate ductwork status.
• Complete safety observations as required.
• Identify and address safety issues in work areas.
