You will steer the evolution of a high-scale optimization stack by integrating agentic AI practices into automated, AI-augmented development loops. You will mentor senior scientists, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and communicate strategy and results to executives while shaping the DSP optimization roadmap for scalable,

Qualifications

  • PhD in a quantitative field.
  • 8+ years designing large-scale optimization in production.
  • Deep foundation in probability, convex/stochastic optimization, and control theory.
  • Production programming in Python/Java/C++/SQL/Spark with low-latency/distributed data.
  • Hands-on AI pair-programming and automation tools experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, architectural design, and production deployment of large-scale algorithms for budget pacing, bid optimization, and marketplace supply/demand balancing.
  • Architect and spearhead AI workflows, utilizing AI agents, automated experiment orchestration, and agent-driven validation to accelerate research-to-production iteration velocity.
  • Provide technical strategy and long-term vision for the DSP optimization ecosystem with leadership alignment.
  • Apply control theory, convex/stochastic optimization, and ML to real-time marketplace dynamics under uncertainty.
  • Guide AI-assisted code refactoring, automated testing suite generation, and LLM-driven research synthesis to raise engineering standards.
  • Own multi-quarter research initiatives from formulation to rollout with rigorous metrics and evaluation.
  • Partner with engineering and product management to ensure scalable algorithm designs.
  • Mentor senior scientists and engineers, setting standards for AI-forward research culture.
  • Communicate technical strategy and results clearly to executives and cross-functional teams.
