Job summary

Judge Consulting Group seeks a Principal DSP Engineer to steer the technical direction for digital beamforming and radar signal processing within phased array systems. You will shape the product and roadmap, define architectures used across teams, and mentor the DSP organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
10+ years of DSP/radar processing experience with leading algorithms.
Strong fundamentals in detection, estimation, adaptive filtering, and array processing.

Responsibilities

Develop digital beamforming algorithms for phased array communications and radar systems.
Design and prototype radar signal processing chains: detection, Doppler, pulse compression, clutter mitigation, tracking.
Translate concepts to real-time FPGA/SoC implementations.
Analyze performance against system requirements (SNR, dynamic range, angular accuracy).
Collaborate with RFIC, antenna, and digital hardware teams to co-optimize.
Mentor and elevate the broader DSP team; set roadmap direction.
