Job summary

Roguebeam seeks a Principal DSP Engineer to set the technical direction for digital beamforming and radar signal processing in our phased array systems. You’ll shape product and software roadmap, define algorithms, and establish verification standards.

You will lead the most challenging signal-processing problems, guiding the team from concept to deployment across RF, antenna, and digital domains, with ownership of technical direction and impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DSP, radar signal processing, or digital beamforming
• Experience leading complex algorithms from concept to deployed system
• Strong modeling skills in MATLAB or Python and real-time implementation on FPGA/SoC

Responsibilities

• Develop digital beamforming algorithms for phased array communications and radar systems
• Design and prototype radar signal processing chains—detection, Doppler, pulse compression, clutter mitigation, and tracking
• Take algorithms from concept and modeling through real-time implementation on FPGA/SoC platforms
• Analyze performance against system requirements (SNR, dynamic range, angular accuracy)
• Collaborate with RFIC, antenna, and digital hardware teams to co-optimize the array and processing
