Qualifications

Schedule: 40 hours/week – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. DSP Shift Lead, providing Direct Care and overseeing Support Staff in a home setting for clients with disabilities (intellectual or behavioral). Golden Heart seeks an experienced Program Supervisor to provide direct care, support daily operations, and blend hands‑on caregiving with staff leadership and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and medication support.
• Supervise, train, and support DSP staff.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure proper staffing coverage.
• Maintain accurate client and staff documentation.
• Address client and staff concerns and ensure a safe environment.
• Participate in care planning (ISP reviews) and team meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years DSP experience plus 3–5 years administrative or leadership experience (e.g., House Manager).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a group home setting.
• Physical ability to assist with client care tasks.
