Job summary

The Drywall and Metal Stud Framer at Higgins-Group, Inc. is responsible for independently performing skilled installation of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceiling (ACT) systems on commercial job sites.

Reading plans and delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently are essential for success. This full-time role requires 4+ years of framing experience and a proven ability to lead field crews, coordinate with project teams, and maintain production schedules while

Qualifications

4+ years of interior and exterior metal stud framing.
Leadership or foreman experience preferred.
Ability to read plans and manage layout independently.
Proven ability to lead crews and manage production schedules.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Install metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling systems per plans and specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project documents.
Plan daily and weekly work to meet project schedules and production goals.
Lead, manage, and develop field crews on commercial job sites.
Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite environment.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades.
