Job summary

Airgas in Muscatine, IA is seeking a Lead Plant Operator to ensure safe and efficient loading and packaging of dry ice products. You will maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced production setting, and ensure quality control standards are met.

The role requires operating forklifts and other equipment, logging production numbers, and adhering to safety protocols. Shift is 7am–7pm; benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to perform detailed arithmetic and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Load, weigh, and package dry ice products into containers according to orders.
• Inspect finished products to ensure weight, density, and packaging integrity.
• Operate production machinery and material handling equipment safely.
• Accurately log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
