Job summary

Airgas in Augusta, GA is seeking a reliable Plant Operator for night shift to load and package dry ice products safely and efficiently. You will operate production machinery, log production and inventory, and maintain a clean, safe facility.

Requirements include 21+ years old, a high school diploma, and basic math skills; production/manufacturing experience preferred. Competitive benefits apply after 30 days, with 7pm–7am schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Loading & Packaging: Load, weigh, and package dry ice products into containers based on customer orders.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products for weight, density and packaging integrity.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate production machinery and material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Documentation: Accurately log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
