Job summary

Scout Motors in Columbia, SC seeks a Drive Train CFT Engineer to serve as the technical interface between product, production, and quality across pre-series to series production.

You will lead electric drive train systems, partner with cross-functional teams, perform root-cause analyses, implement containment actions, and help drive a high-quality, efficient production flow in Pilot Hall.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in vehicle or powertrain production.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent hands-on automotive experience.
• Strong ability to navigate complex organizations and collaborate across production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for electric drive train systems within Pilot Hall.
• Support production teams to meet daily build targets, quality objectives, and launch milestones.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve drive train, e-motor, gearbox, and system integration issues.
