Job summary

Tri-State Drilling, LLC is seeking an experienced Driller to operate and oversee drilled shaft foundations for high-voltage transmission line projects. This IBEW union position reports to a Crew Foreman or Superintendent and may serve as crew foreman on some projects.

The role involves hands-on field work at construction sites, leadership of crews, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications. Travel and per diem are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Established Driller experience, 3+ years preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel; per diem and travel expenses provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing standard procedures.
• Understand the bid and the contract.
• Coordinate all work according to the schedule.
• Communicate regularly with the Operations Leadership and Project Manager.
• Ensure the timely coordination of material deliveries.
• Ensure locates are accomplished.
• Assist the team with duties as needed to support the project.
