Job summary

Tri-State Drilling in Plymouth, MN seeks an IUOE Deep Foundation Driller – Specialty Division for nationwide projects. You will operate drilling and foundation equipment, lead crews, and ensure safety and quality on complex infrastructure, renewable energy, industrial, and utility projects across the United States.

This union role emphasizes day-to-day leadership, schedule coordination, and coordination with Project Managers while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures on active sites

Qualifications

• Established Driller experience, 3 years or more preferred.
• Experience with helical pile, drilled shaft, micropile, rock drilling, driven pile, or similar applications preferred.
• Good decision‑making skills; operate without direct supervision and work well within your team.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Ability to give clear direction. Communicates in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing standard procedures.
• Understand the bid and the contract.
• Coordinate all work according to the schedule.
• Communicate regularly with the Operations Leadership and Project Manager.
• Ensure the timely coordination of material deliveries.
• Ensures locates are accomplished.
• Assist the team with duties as needed to support the project.
